Update

So, the van was fixed quickly and only cost $120!  That was yesterday.  Today?  Oh, new problem with engine light warning!  It's at the shop again.  I'm like Debbie Downer over here.  Geez.  I guess a $400 van shouldn't be expected to last too long huh?  The $18,000.00 motorcycle would get us two nice used cars after trade in!  That's the whole reason we are wanting/hoping/praying/begging for it.

Pray

I think of all you need to pray to the sweet Lord Jesus that we win that motorcycle on August 11th!  Our only A/C vehicle bit the dust today and had to be towed to the shop.  No word on the problem or the cost.  This of course makes our big time anniversary plans tomorrow in limbo.  We'll probably head to Taco Bell and take a nap.  argh.

Just keeping you up to date on messing around on the computer.  I'm really not sure why I'm into the retro looking girls but I like them so I keep making them!  I think they'd look amazingly mod printed really large.  

Craigslist is awesome. I do have a rug problem though. Wonder if there are support groups for that?

Out of sheer boredom, I parted my hair on the other side. I can't get over the sheer size of my forehead!  

I also can't believe how long it takes me to get a picture that makes my face look thinner. Whatever. Who cares. So what. 

Been jump roping in the garage. Even bought a 70's inspired sweat head band. My legs hurt big time.

Hard

It's hard to kind of chill out, relax, enjoy the hot month of July.  Trying to save money for the trip up North makes me feel, let's see, claustrophobic.  I feel like I need to start some projects, yet, projects cost money!  So, working a lot on computer art, rearranged the big living room a.g.a.i.n., laying low.  It creeps me out.  Kind of.  You know?  Plus, checked the calendar and after we get back from vacation, the boys only have one week off before flipping school starts!  So, that's where my mind is at, what's new with everybody else?

Aloe vera sucks

My heartburn issues are not fun.  I take two Prilosec a day.  I don't like that.  John came home the other day with some Aloe Vera Juice that's supposed to do wonders for acid reflux.  This is day 2 of this new  all natural approach and I'm miserable.  Broke out the Prilosec at 4 pm.  Dumb.  

Been working on some girls today!  You like?

Well since its still hotter than heck & I'm lazy and uninspired to do much of anything around the house, I tried a Pinterest inspired hairdo today. This is called "beach waves". Not real thrilled with it but we all know we have hair issues. Like my new toned down blond?  That, I do like about 85%. 

I've never been so hot in my entire life. I mean it. My hair was dry at 8 pm but currently drenched at 11:17 pm. Here's a few shots at Dana's country place!

This heat sucks. I'm like a tired zombie stuck inside with all the curtains closed. This week shows no signs of relief either. Wah. Wah. Wah. I managed to eek out a gluten free bread recipe. It was mediocre at best. Wah. 

I haven't tried that recipe you gave me yet mom but that's going to be the next one. Of course, if I turn on the oven, I'm guessing I'll melt right on the kitchen floor.
