New Blog & New Work

Sorry for the delay!  Here's my latest work.  I'm in love with the accidental portrait of John.  Won't be selling it because I think I'll regret letting it go.

I sold one piece this weekend!  YEAH!

I'll be starting an new blog via wordpress that is going to be all about my art.  This blog will mostly be for the family only.  I'll keep you posted on the details.  Been super busy so that's it for now!

2013 starts!

Ok, need some clever art marketing ideas to get these babies to start selling.  I was thinking something along the lines of "Buy some original art from the artist that doesn't sell anything!" John thinks its a bad idea.  I've really got to get some ideas in my blood for selling the art, not the art itself.  I'm not sure how to do that.  It's my 2013 goal.  Kick art's butt.  Anyway, these will go online Tuesday through Sunday on Ebay!  All made in 2013, not a bad start for the new year I'd say.

These are all original paintings, not digital prints.  I used a paper for the backgrounds and then painted over for great texture!  What's your fave?

New Work

Still having trouble finding the time to do any art but here are my last two pieces from 2012!

New year, new cut & color! Did it all myself I'll have you know. I like it! Not exactly what I was going for with the color but Whatevs. Please note the giant worry wrinkle I've developed smack dab in the middle of my face. Hate it. Too bad I can't afford or handle bi-yearly Botox injections. If it was a scar it'd be cool but it isn't. Poop.
