New Work . . .

Here's the three pieces I did this week.  I had a hard time with the dude, spent WAY to much time on him.  I gotta start making them faster OR get more for them.

I feel like I'm getting into my groove in the painting style I want and they are starting to look like ' mine ' . . .  do you know what I mean?  Here's this week's new stuff.  I have one more but didn't finish it up quite yet.  Hope I can get a following going and sell some every week!  

Last's week I sold only two.  Hey, not bad.

I picked up these adorable pendants today at Michael's crafts for $2 each.  The turtle was hard not to get because I have two live turtles in my office right now and the whale?  Well, it's mod and adorable!  And $2!!

New Work . . .

Mom, it's adorable that you think I do these paintings straight from my head! I don't; however, I'm not giving away my new secret techniques either!  Ha.  Here they are!

My goal is to make things that are kind of mid century modern related.  Kind of.  The last one was inspired by Becky's fancy new wall unit bookshelf thingy.  Maybe she should buy that one.  (joke).  


I added the following statement in my ebay description to try and avoid stupid people, thoughts?

Paintings Sold….

Good week for paintings last week!  Here are the one's that sold.  The top one is coming back because people are nuts.  The sky was too 'hazy' for them.  Whatevs.  I hate people.  Anyway, I'm really happy with my sales and even though my style may be a bit out of the ordinary, that's what I think people want!

Tuesdays are my ebay days, I'll try and show you my newest creations then.  Congrats to Becky for the iphone conversion.  I don't think you'll regret it!

Birthday Boy . . .

Just look at how adorable my hubs is!  This photo is already a year and a half old, that's bananas!  

41 years old today!

I'm a very lucky woman to have found John and married him up early, I still feel like a 16 year old when I'm with him and what could be better than that when you really think about it?

Good news!  Greyhound bus takes oversized packages!  Who knew?  I shipped it out last night. Wow, stressful day yesterday but today is much better. 

So I'm utterly bummed out. I had a big sale on eBay this week. John & I spent about an hour boxing up the big brass wall tree and today when I went to ship it, NO ONE WILL SEND IT!!!  It's too big. I have to give the money back. $300 down the tubes. Stupid. 

Straightened hair!  With such straight hair naturally, you'd think I wouldn't  need to do such a thing!  Of course, it didn't last all day. Maybe I need a better straightener?
